About Pavo Performance
Pavo Performance has been specifically developed to give sport horses maximum endurance and a top-fit, shiny appearance. Horses which need to perform at the highest level (energy level 3) will have, among other things, increased energy and protein needs. The unique composition of this sport pellet will allow (top) sport horses to mainly obtain their energy for sustained exertion from healthy fibres and fats, instead of sugar and starchy sources like cereal grains. It will give your top athlete all the ingredients it needs to optimally perform, without the risk of getting hot!
Natural vitamin E
Did you know that horses are not able to take in an infinity amount of synthetic produced vitamin E? There is a maximum, after which your horse won’t be able to take in more. Thus, Pavo Performance contains natural vitamin E and natural antioxidants that can be absorbed up to 100%, which is more effective. Both of these support the muscle function of your horse and help to remove waste out you your horse’s muscles and to reduce muscle pain and or acidification.
Electrolytes for a fast replenishment
As sport horses do not only sweat in the summer months, but sweat the entire year, Pavo Performance contains electrolytes. Electrolytes are body salts, such as sodium, chloride and potassium that are lost when sweating. These nutrients are essential and play a huge role in the recovery of the muscles.
Healthy stomach ad intestinal flora
The Pavo Performance sport pellet contains excellent digestible grass and beet pulp fibers. The added prebiotics have a lot of healthy features that support a healthy digestion and a stable intestinal flora.

The intensity of your training decides how much energy your horse needs, to keep up with your training session. Pavo Energy is suited for energy level 3:
- Energy level 3: 1 hour of training every day, containt 14 minutes of walking, 23 minutes of trotting and 10 minutes of cantering
- Daily adviced amount for horses that perform heavy to very heavy work (energy level 3): 0,45 kg per 100kg of body weight. Horse (600 kg): 2-3 kilograms, pony (300 kg): 1 – 1,5 kilograms
- Energy level 3: 1 hour of training every day, containt 14 minutes of walking, 23 minutes of trotting and 10 minutes of cantering
- The daily amount depends on the intensity of your daily work and your horses pasture routine.
