Pavo invests in scientific research and works together with the University of Wageningen, Faculty for Veterinarian Medicine (University of Utrecht) and the Dutch Health Service for Animals (Deventer).

Over the past years the following research projects have been undertaken:

A study of OC/OCD
Insulin resistance in relation to feeding
Chewing time of different roughages and grains
Stomach ulcers in sport horses
Magnesium levels in the blood of sport horses
